Windproof, warm, breathable and compressible, you’ll notice it only by the sheer versatility and comfort it delivers.

The shell, built with 1.5-oz. Cordura® ripstop nylon, weighs next to nothing and allows the jacket to be packed into its own pocket for easy stowage. For added protection from weather and wear, we added an additional reinforcing layer over the shoulders. Filson's Ultralights are insulated with PrimaLoft® Gold, which closely mimics the packability and softness of goose down better than any synthetic insulation available. PrimaLoft Gold’s most impressive performance attribute, however, is that it retains 98% of its insulating ability when wet.
