This was a 20 hour drive all told and interestingly, with just a few stops 'en route' I have been able to see more fine English guns than most persons would probably see in a lifetime! Literally 1000's and I am determined to revisit with more time to record some of the more unique and rare guns, in order they can be seen by others.
For the next week I will be at our shop in Bozeman so please call if you have a chance and if I can help you with anything whilst I am over here.
Kindly offered some protection for my journey across the prairies, 'a true American pair'!
And I demonstrated the TEAGUE chokes at a shooting ground. At least I tried to!

Is that the new WR O/U? It looks suspiciously Italian.

I have my Teague hat on, so a Perazzi!

I think I have just been fired by SSM

Poor trigger control in the first picture, I'm afraid.

True, but there is evidence of muzzle awareness, he'd only blow two holes in the floor above! It would get me booted out of my rifle club in double quick time though!

I didn't know you could get pulled over for speeding in Montana. Times sure are changing.

There is probably speeding and then SPEEDING! I was the later!

Simon,
First off I would like to thank you for enlightening us with your posts here. I am by no means an avid hunter but the post with top 10 books for any shooter was a gold mine. I enjoyed reading a couple of the books and they led me to many other great ones by the same authors.
I recently moved to Portland,OR and since your store is nothing but a nice drive away I figured I could visit the shop. In a perfect world I would love to find an affordable 12g Westley Richards boxlock, rarely do I find any in decent condition let alone to my dimensions. I missed an opportunity on one you posted about a couple months ago, it was not a droplock but certainly affordable. Do they show up often in your stores or is it something I would have better luck finding in gun shows/trades here in the US?
Thanks for your time and the follow back on Instagram! Even though your Instagram is mostly what you post on your blog, cant have enough of it, great feed.
Best regards,
Faisal

Thank you. Possibly the best bet is one from UK, we do get them coming through here and can let you know when another appears. I have found them difficult to locate the gun shows, high prices and poor condition is the norm! The good original condition guns are certainly harder and harder to find and I will say that when found worth considering as I think a safe investment both for pleasure, for which the gun is made, but also financially in the long term.
My thanks for your support.
