A Westley Richards .375 Take Down Rifle.

Another one of our popular Take Down rifles is completed this week, this time in the classic .375 H&H Magnum. Here it is shown in the various stages of opening the package that arrives on your doorstep. First seen is the outer canvas cover with initials made to protect the lightweight leather case below. Both these items are made in house in our leather department. Open the case and the classic safari rifle is revealed, a big bang in a small compact package!

Good day Simon,

What beauty Sir, after holding several if not many different maker's guns you really do have the gun that fits well. But most notable was that the Westley Richards I held were made to such a scale of Caliber. So many guns being built now are so much the same, whether it's a 300 are a 416 there guns feel so similar. Westley Richards guns are not a once you hold one you have held them all.... by any means. I guess the best word to describe your bolt actions would be Thoroughbreds!!
Now to a question Sir, I always notice your rings on bolt actions as the engraving on the top is wonderful. What is the small metal shaft that goes from one ring to the other? I have not seen this before. Thanks for the time to address my question Sir.

  The mounts on this particular rifle are the H&H type. The bar which goes between the two sets of rings can be adjusted so that there is tension, as it were, into the bases where they lock in position. It is the method of getting the perfect fit for the mounts.

If I could only own one rifle, this would be it... Perhaps with an additional barrel in 300. What a wonderful rifle.. .And that wood is over the top.
