A lovely rifle, I was not aware that big game calibre rifles were built in an OU arrangement until this blog. I'd be interested to know if the felt recoil is different to a SS, I've fired a .500NE side by side and the recoil was a lot more comfortable than I thought it would be, albeit I knew I'd fired a heavy rifle. I've read that OU's have more muzzle flip, does any one have any thoughts?

Dear Karl
Thanks for your reply, your English is a lot better than my German I have to say.
Your comments are very interesting, and I appreciate them. I like Heym rifles, I used to own one in .270 Win and am currently giving serious thought to the SR21 Super Classic (in .308), it is styled after English best rifles and looks like the nearest I will get to one of the lovely rifles Simon's craftsmen turn out.
