Winchester Model 61 Pump Action Hammerless Rifle chambered for .22 Winchester Magnum Rimfire (.22 WMR).

This rifle was made in 1961 and has a grooved receiver engraved in a No. 8 type pattern of rabbits and squirrels by Nick Kusmit. Rifle has a walnut stock with a smooth pistol grip and hard rubber checkered butt plate that, grooved forend and a 24" bbl. with a dovetail front sight and ladder rear sight. 

Pauline Muerrle, former Winchester engraver, has kindly provided a letter confirming the rifle was indeed engraved by Mr. Kusmit. However, she does not think the rifle is a factory engraved rifle as the serial number does not appear in the factory records she has on hand.

Engraving is initialed "NK", bore is perfect and the varnish on the stock and blue on the barrel and receiver are 99% as refinished.
