J. Rigby & Co. .375 H&H Magnum bolt action rifle. Built on an original single square bridge, standard length, Mauser Obendorf action with flag safety, chequered bolt handle, hinged floor plate with trigger guard release catch. The floor plate is nicely decorated with some scroll engraving and inlaid in gold is 'CAL. .375 H&H'. Re-barreled and restocked in 1983, the 23 1/2" barrel has a mint bore and shoots a very accurate group using RWS Uni Classic ammunition. It is fitted with a rear island express sight with one standing and two folding leaves regulated at 100, 300 & 400 yards and a single bead foresight with flip up hood protector. 14 1/4" pistol grip stock with Monte Carlo comb and cheekpiece, traditional recoil pad, Mercury recoil reducer, horn grip cap, recoil bar, gold oval, sling swivel and horn forend tip.
