G. McMIllan & Co. Was the rifle making side of Gale McMillan’s rifle stock business, that was bought by a group of investors headed by Wes Harris.  

This is a standard grade Signature Model in .338 Winchester Magnum. Built on McMillan’s own action patterned after the Remington 700 with a round bottom and ring recoil lug. Fitted with a Shilen Rem 700 type trigger and safety. S&K Sculpted bases and 1” "Smooth Kontoured" rings and bases are attached. One-piece Remington BDL type aluminum bottom metal. Magazine holds 3 down in the magazine and 1 in the chamber. 

Rifle has a 23” barrel and I believe they were made with Shilen Match-Grade barrels.  

In a Claro walnut stock with beaded RH cheekpiece, 2-panel checkering on the grip and wraparound checkering on the forend with an ebony forend tip. The rifle has a 13 ¼" LOP over 1” Pachmayr decelerator pad. Post rear sling stud and thin banded sling eye mounted to the barrel. Rifle shows signs of use, but overall in very good condition. Metal is very good and mark free, stock shows a few handling marks here or there. The bore is perfect and cartridges feed smoothly.
