Westley Richards .318 bolt action rifle built in 1920. Built on a standard length Mauser action with the original flag safety, chequered horn bolt knob, double set triggers and lever release on the floor plate. Full length carbine stock with right hand cheekpiece, steel heel plate and gold oval with the original owner's family crest. 22” barrel with patent combination foresight and one standing and four folding leaves express sight. Made in 1920 for “Count Alfred Potocki”; the rifle comes in the original case which is marked "Count Alfred Potocki" accompanied by the original leather case for the scope. The rifle and case are unaltered and in their factory original configuration save for the desirable patina of a near 100 year old rifle that has been well cared for.
