A Westley Richards & Co. Best Quality bolt action magazine rifle built in the late 1980’s. Chambered in .338 Win. Mag. the rifle is based on a prewar military Mauser action with a case colored bolt shroud and a 2-position Model 70 type safety. The 25” barrel has an island rear sight that has with 1 standing/2 folding Express sights (50, 100, 150 yds). Action is fitted with EAW swing mounts 30mm rings. Stocked in nicely figured walnut with a right hand English style cheekpiece, a point checkering pattern, horn forend tip, two recoil bar cross bolts capped with ebony and a traditional red pad. Full coverage Scroll engraving on the bolt handle, bottom metal, receiver, barrel shank, rear and front sight as well as the trap grip cap.  Overall, this gun is excellent inside and out.
