Absolutely mint pair of James Purdey & Sons 12g sidelock ejectors. Completed around 1962 they are in exceptional, collectors condition and feature 26" barrels, 2 3/4" chambers, choked 1/4 & 5/8 with a raised engine turned top rib. Classic Purdey rose and scroll engraved, self opening, double trigger actions retaining all original colour hardening. Handsome dark stocks, with slim leather covered recoil pads, gold stock oval, splinter forends with push rod release. The guns weigh 6lbs 11oz, are very fast handling and are the ideal grouse or partridge guns.
